Being pitched as a healthy alternative to chips or candy, the Eat Your Coffee Bar certainly comes complete with an attention-grabbing twist.
Each one of Eat Your Coffee’s all-natural energy bar is infused with a full cup of Fair Trade coffee.
And that’s certainly by design.
The USDA organic, non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free bars were created by Johnny Fayad and Ali Kothari. The two business students at Northeastern University were looking for a way to get both nutrition and coffee in an on-the-go way.
Looks like they’ve found it.
Our reviewer found the product “interesting,” if a bit unusual at first, but was sold after testing two flavors and deciding, “I would definitely get them.”
A purchase supports Eat Your Coffee’s philanthropic efforts, as it has partnered with The Chain Collaborative to fund projects that help coffee farming communities.
Available in Coconut Mocha, Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte, the bar is sold in select retail locations but primarily online. Opt for a sample pack (three for $8.99) or a box of 12 ($36), with subscriptions also available.
