When developing our Eat Your Coffee Bars, we had this statement in mind. We were sick of looking at nutrition labels and having no understanding on what an ingredient was or why it was in there, so we wanted to provide a product void of nonsense. Below, you will find all of the ingredients in our Eat Your Coffee Bars and why each one is important!

Organic Dates
Dates are the top ingredient in the Eat Your Coffee Bar food chain (aside from the coffee, of course!), thanks to their impressive amount of essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that are critical for our overall health and well-being. They’ve been known to help with heart problems, iron-deficiencies, and even helping keep you regular. Dates are also a great source of energy through naturally-occurring sugars and fiber, along with key minerals, such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, and zinc. Serving as one of the main ingredients that hold the Eat Your Coffee Bars together, dates are a no-brainer in playing a critical role in providing people with healthier ways to stay energized throughout the day.
Organic Gluten Free Oats
Gluten-free oats were an obvious choice for our Eat Your Coffee Bars, as we wanted to keep them healthy and energizing. Oats are a power-packed food, filled with energy – a 100 gram serving delivers over 66 grams of carbs! Along with keeping you fueled, oats are also known to have many other awesome benefits to keep you exploring, like keeping you full and focused, lowering bad cholesterol, controlling high blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart disease, and many more great benefits. There’s a reason oats have become such a staple in breakfasts far and near, as they are an essential food that keeps us energized for all of life’s adventures.
Organic Almond Butter
Almond butter is an excellent source of protein to keep you energized longer and stronger. Helping you sustain through any possible energy crashes, almond butter also provides a substantial amount of calcium and vitamin E, which is over 25% of your daily value in just one single tablespoon! Additionally, there’s just the right amount of essential, unsaturated fatty acids to keep you feeling full, while combating high cholesterol and keeping your heart healthy.
Organic Brown Rice Syrup
While searching for the right natural sweetener to help hold our Eat Your Coffee Bars together that also gave them the right touch of sweetness, we tried a wide variety of candidates. They ranged from maple syrup to molasses and honey to agave syrup, until we finally settled on organic brown rice syrup as our go-to sweetener. It is the sweetener widely used by the macrobiotic community in cooking, and it is a great compliment to the other natural ingredients in our Eat Your Coffee Bars.
Organic Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips
Other than being a delicious treat desired by many, dark chocolate is chock-full of nutrients that can positively affect your health, and it is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet. Studies show that dark chocolate can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease. Also, it’s a great way to curb cravings and keep you full longer. So go ahead and treat yourself with some heart healthy chocolate, as long as it’s 70% dark or higher!
Organic Fair Trade Coffee
Coffee was a must, considering we were trying to make an edible form of it! We love coffee, as it keeps us up and energized, while being so gosh darn delicious! Not only that, but it’s also very good for you, being another one of the most antioxidant rich foods out there. Another important part of our coffee is how we source it. Since founding Eat Your Coffee, we’ve held a strong devotion to creating social impact. With our first step in doing so, we decided to source our coffee through a non-profit, The Chain Collaborative, that is focused on establishing connections to help farmers in the coffee industry. Through our connection, we have helped fund the operations of a school in Coyol, Nicaragua to help keep children of coffee farmers in school and out of the fields for an entire year! You can read more about the partnership here!
Organic Crisp Brown Rice
Brown rice crisps offer a nice crunch to our Eat Your Coffee Bars, while also delivering on quite a few other health benefits, including low levels of saturated fats, a good source of phosphorus for healthy bones and teeth, and plenty of fiber to keep your digestion running smoothly.
Organic Cashews
Cashews deliver a great number of health benefits. While having less fat than the average nut, a majority of the fats are monounsaturated fats, which reduce triglyceride levels and lower the risk of heart problems. Additionally, cashews contain a high amount of antioxidants and essential minerals for our body, like magnesium and copper. Copper is extremely important in sustaining many enzymes that keep our physiological processes in homeostasis, and magnesium is vital for healthy bones. We’d be “nutty” not to have cashews in our Eat Your Coffee Bars!
Organic Chia Seeds
Regarded as one of the healthiest foods on the planet, chia seeds are a tiny superfood that pack a big punch. Despite the low amount of calories, chia seeds deliver a whole lot of nutrients and antioxidants to keep us healthy. Being highly absorbent due to their high protein content and carbs made up of nearly all fiber, chia seeds help keep you feeling full and energized longer. Additionally, chia seeds provide an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids for a healthy mind and a healthy heart – without that fishy taste!
Organic Agave Fiber
Ahh... Agave fiber, nature’s broom. Ali found this out the hard way when he decided to add a few tablespoons to his morning smoothie! We use this naturally-occurring fiber as a great solution to hold our Eat Your Coffee Bars together naturally and help them last. Inulin, the protein within this that makes it possible, is a great source of daily fiber to keep you regular.
Organic Cinnamon
While we use just a dash of cinnamon to deliver some warmth and coffeehouse flavor, it can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors, and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits. Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, cinnamon is great at keeping you healthy and fighting infections.
Sea Salt
Sea salt is arguably the greatest, natural flavor enhancer out there. While we use only a small pinch of this good stuff, it makes a huge difference in flavor. This tasty flavor enhancer also has some great health benefits, but definitely to enjoy in moderation. While it has alkalizing properties, paired with essential minerals for your body, it is also high in sodium, which is something you want to control your intake of. Used sparingly, sea salt is a necessity in everyone’s pantry.
